The SOU Insect Museum, located in SC361 on the SOU Campus, houses about 30,000 preserved insect specimens representing a wide range of insect specimens collected by students, researchers, and amateur collectors from the unique and diverse Klamath-Siskiyou Forests ecoregion as well as from many places around the world. The SOU Insect Museum serves as a permanent record of insects inhabiting the earth, as a repository for vouchered specimens from student and faculty research projects, and as a teaching resource used in Entomology (BI466/566).
