About Me:
My name is Alan Day. I currently serve as the Vice-Speaker of the Senate and hold the position of Non-Traditional and Military Affairs Senator. I am a physics and history major with a goal to be an educator. I have a long history in service to the public. I was a Boy Scout for five years. From there I learned the joy and responsible of working to better humanity. Besides years in management and supervision, I have been a Scoutmaster and Cubmaster, a volunteer coach in soccer and chess, a parent volunteer and chairperson for Head Start, and a volunteer firefighter and EMT. As a person with a strong background in organization and leadership, I hope to bring an added sense of orderliness and direction to the ASSOU Senate, as well as make sure that the financial mistakes of last year are not repeated.
