ASSOU Term 2013 2014

 ASSOU President

Poistion: Speaker of the Senate

Major: Political Science and History

Minor: Psychology

Class: Senior

About Me:

My name is Andrew Ensslin. I am the ASSOU Speaker of the Senate, and the Gender Equality and Sexual Diversity Senator. I am from Cottonwood, CA and transferred to SOU with an AA from Shasta College; I decided to move to Ashland because I wanted to go to a friendly school that wasn't far from home but would still let me live independently.

I am majoring in Political Science & History with a minor in Psychology. I last year I got involved as ASSOU as the Housing Senator because student residential life is something that means a lot to me and I want to do what I can to help see that fellow students have a positive and enriching experience while living on campus.

I have previously worked at Macy's department store and had an internship in a Congressional Office; I have spent the rest of my time in ASSOU developing my own personal leadership skills and helping those around me manage the many demands of student government.

Constituents include any member of the ASSOU with an interest in gender and sexual diversity issues.
