Campus Ambassadors
Campus Ambassadors are full time students who represent Southern Oregon University in all aspects of new student outreach. These fantastic student volunteers conduct guided campus and residence hall tours, make congratulatory phone calls to newly admitted students, respond to prospective student inquiries via e-mail, and are on-hand to meet and greet new students at Preview Days and Early Registration.
Wearing the signature red vest means more than just being a full time SOU student. When selecting ambassadors, we look for gregarious and involved students. In addition to volunteering their time in Admissions, ambassadors are also residence hall residents, student body senators, journalists for the school newspaper, presidents and founders of student clubs, resident assistants, athletes and more!
The SOU Ambassadors' mission is to represent SOU and its many faces accurately, effectively, and enthusiastically. We are committed to helping prospective students and the public explore and experience our dynamic and diverse community.
