Graduate Admissions Process and Criteria
Each graduate program at SOU has its own admissions process and criteria. All candidates for post-baccalaureate study will be considered post-baccalaureate candidates until they gain approval from the specific graduate program they are interested in. Each candidate for graduate admission must complete their departmental applications, in addition to submitting the following to the Admissions Office at SOU:
- Application for Graduate Admission
- $50 application fee
- Official transcripts of all previous college and university coursework (If a candidate has previously attended SOU and no other institution, transcripts are not necessary.)

General Criteria for Post-Baccalaureate and Graduate Admissions
- a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- graduation in good standing
Post-Baccalaureate Admissions Process
All students interested in Post-Baccalaureate study should complete the above materials and send them to the Admissions Office at SOU. All post-baccalaureate students must get specific departmental approval before taking any graduate course at SOU.
