At SOU, you’re a name- not a number. With an average class size of 25 and a faculty/student ratio of 1:21, your professors know you. Through internships, study abroad, field work, capstone projects, civic engagement and more, you will translate education into practical experience. 
As the cultural epicenter of southern Oregon, the city of Ashland is rich in culture and bustling with activity. Surrounded by crystalline rivers, national forests, and powder ski runs, our region is more than a recreational wonderland; it’s an outdoor classroom. You will combine what you learn in the classroom with real-life experiences through what we call connected learning.
