Deborah Rosenberg

Costume Design for Master of Theatre Studies

Professor Deborah Rosenberg comes to SOU from New York where she worked as the faculty costume designer and costume shop supervisor at Ithaca College, guest draper at Cornell University, faculty costume designer and costume shop supervisor at SUNY: Brockport and resident designer at Niagara University. Her professional credits include costume designs for the Alley Theatre in Texas, the Berkshire Theatre Festival and Shakespeare and Company in Massachusetts, Player’s Theatre Columbus in Ohio, and theatres in Canada and Spain. At SOU, Deborah teaches costume design, costume construction, stage makeup, costume history, and script analysis. She holds a BA in anthropology from Trent University in Ontario and an MFA in costume design from the North Carolina School of the Arts.

Deborah RosenburgIn 2010 Deborah will join Jamie Peck to also teach a la carte course Mask Making and Movement.
