Theatre Teacher Training Faculty
Deborah Rosenberg
Deborah Rosenberg comes to SOU from New York where she worked as the faculty costume designer and costume shop supervisor at Ithaca College, guest draper at Cornell University, faculty costume designer and costume shop supervisor at SUNY: Brockport and resident designer at Niagara University. Her professional credits include costume designs for the Alley Theatre in Texas, the Berkshire Theatre Festival and Shakespeare and Company in Massachusetts, Player’s Theatre Columbus in Ohio, and theatres in Canada and Spain. At SOU, Deborah teaches costume design, costume construction, stage makeup, and costume history. She holds a BA in anthropology from Trent University in Ontario and an MFA in costume design from the North Carolina School of the Arts.
In 2006 and 2007 Deborah also taught Mask Construction and Implementation with Jamie Peck.
