Eric Levin
Director of Theatre Education for Master of Theatre Studies
Eric Levin has over ten years experience developing and implementing creative theatre programs in educational and recreational settings. His theatre experience includes set and lighting design, technical direction, acting and directing. Eric's professional teaching experience includes secondary schools, community college and university including Waldo Middle School in Oregon, Dickenson State University in North Dakota, and College of the Sequoias and Hanford High School in California. He has published works in such journals as the Journal of American Theatre and Drama, The Eugene O'Neill Journal and Theatre Research International.
At SOU Eric teaches theatre literature in the undergraduate program, supervises theatre Master of Arts in Teaching candidates and is the director of the Master of Theatre Studies program. He holds a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of California at Berkeley, an MAT in Language Arts from Western Oregon University and a Ph.D. in theatre from the University of Oregon.
Eric will also teach the online course Topics in Drama: Postmodern
