Jakey Hicks

Jakey Hicks has worked in theatre for more than 15 years, graduating from San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts in 1990. Currently in her 5th season as a hair and wig craftsman at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, her career includes work at Portland Center Stage, Portland Opera, the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, as well as several tours and film projects. A licensed cosmetologist for ten years, she is also a period style and color specialist.

The Ashland Center for Theatre Studies is a program of the SOU Department of Theatre Arts. The SOU Department of Theatre Arts offers an outstanding undergraduate theatre program with BFA, BA, and BS degrees in theatre. SOU is the designated Center of Excellence in the Fine and Performing Arts in the Oregon University System.
