Theatre Teacher Training Faculty
Lisa Buckley
Lisa Buckley began her career puppeteering on a LIVE morning show in 1980 and continues to work as a professional puppeteer. She has performed in Korea, Ireland, Cambodia, Philippines, Kenya, and Haiti. Stage production, movie and television show credits include Alf, Men In Black, Johnny and the Sprites, Dog City and dozens of Muppet productions. Lisa puppeteered on Sesame Street for ten years performing everything from a penguin to a hotdog. Today she spends most of her time working with No Strings International, an organization that delivers disaster-risk-reduction films and workshops; Lisa co-facilitates the teacher training workshops in areas around the world. For more information and video demonstrations, see Lisa's website at http://lisabuckleypuppets.com/.
Lisa will co-teach the Puppetry: Design, Construction and Performance elective course with Bob Fappiano for our summer 2012 session.
