Math Placement Testing

All students must take the Math Placement (or have a qualifying math transfer class) prior to enrolling in a math class at SOU. The Math Placement scores are good for two years from date of exam.

To take the Math Placement test, please set up an appointment by calling us at 541-552-6213 or stopping by Academic Support Programs.

Math Placements on the following dates at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.:

Mondays - May 13, 20, and June 3

Tuesdays - May 14, 21, 28, and June 4 

Wednesdays - May 15, 22, 29, and June 5 

Additional Math Placement testing opportunities are available at the RCC/SOU Higher Education Center in Medford.

At time of placement you must provide your picture ID and can bring a calculator for the test. If you have taken the placement at SOU before, you will be charged a $10 fee to your SOU account. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us.
