Math Placement
All students must take the Math Placement (or have a qualifying math transfer class) prior to enrolling in a math class at SOU. The Math Placement scores are good for two years from date of exam.
To take the Math Placement, please set up an appointment by calling us at 541-552-6213 or stopping by Academic Support Programs.
The Math Placement dates during Fall term 2009 are as follows:

Tuesday or Wednesday October 27 or 28 10 a.m., 11 a.m., or 2:30
Tuesday or Wednesday November 3 or 4 10 a.m., 11 a.m., or 2:30
Tuesday or Wednesday November 10 or 11 10 a.m., 11 a.m., or 2:30
Tuesday or Wednesday November 17 or 18 10 a.m., 11 a.m., or 2:30
Tuesday or Wednesday December 1 or 2 10 a.m., 11 a.m., or 2:30
Additional Math Placement testing opportunities are available at the RCC/SOU Higher Education Center in Medford.
At time of placement you must provide your picture ID and can bring a calculator for the test. If you have taken the placement at SOU before, you will be charged a $10 fee to your SOU account. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us.
