Department of Music
Ensembles
The Music Department at SOU has a variety of ensembles for students to engage. These ensembles are open to all students on campus regardless of academic major. Many of the members of these ensembles are not music majors and perform in the ensemble for the experience and enjoyment of making music.
Music majors are required to participate in large ensembles for their major instrument and scholarship requirement.
In addition to SOU ensembles, students often perform in many community music ensembles and theatres. More info...
