New Topics & PagesWe are open to adding topics and pages to this site. Please specify what topic you would like to have included and which area of the interdisciplinary Links you feel it should go under. For example, if you wanted to have a page on environmental art and literature, it might go under a new key issue called "the environment," or if you wanted to add a page on black feminist theater, it might be referenced under African American Studies, Feminism, and Performance Studies. Once the site is set up, you will be asked to write an introduction, and suggest readings and links.
Introductions & OverviewsPlease write up to 2 short paragraphs.
PeopleSuggest anyone you feel is appropriate. We ask that you also write a short paragraph or two explaining their significance. If possible, also include links to any good world wide web pages about the people in question.
TermsPlease write up to 2 short paragraphs on a term. Suggesting new terms is fine, and adding your comments to an existing definition is also fine.
On-Campus LinksSuggest any on-campus link you feel is appropriate. Please include its URL with the suggestion.
Off-Campus LinksSuggest any off-campus link you feel is appropriate. Please include its URL with the suggestion.
Suggested ReadingsPlease suggest up to 3 books on a theory, person, or issue. If possible, include publishing information and the call number (you can get these from Roguelinx and then copy and paste them into your email). If someone has already recommended a book you wanted to recommend, let us know and we will add your name to the list of recommenders.
Example AssignmentsThese have a high priority. You may attach word processing files with assignments to your email message, and we will translate them into HTML for you.
Example Essays & ProjectsChoose your best students' work for these. Please write a paragraph explaining the features of the work that you liked (as an aid to other students). For an example, see the introduction to Emily Stater's essay. Please send a signed document by the student agreeing to let us post their work to Warren Hedges, English Department. Feel free to print out our consent form.
