Sanctimonious Disclaimer Other than broadening students' horizons, these sites are unrelated to my duties as an instructor of US Literature. They are, however, closely related to my roles as cultural critic, representational theorist, and yes, I'll say it, an artist. I have not undertaken the Sisyphian task of attempting to review each and every site for any link that might offend someone's political, social, or religious views. Anyone desiring an environment devoid of offense should emigrate to a One-Party State (bring along your Windows machine). Any content that may or may not be posted at sites is in no way representative of the views of Southern Oregon University as an official entity. A healthy culture, like a healthy ecosystem, is unruly: driven by mutation, change, diversity. One of my roles as a teacher is to promote this diversity. I also would be doing students a disservice not to acquaint them with significant intellectual trends of their time.
