Whether you are just exploring the idea of being a teacher or you're a seasoned veteran, the School of Education at Southern Oregon University offers several programs to meet your needs. From Initial Licensure, to adding an endorsement, or even pursuing a Continuing License, we have a program that's right for you. Distance Learning Options

The School of Education is reaching out to teachers in the region by offering undergraduate and graduate courses through two-way video and online.  Teachers can earn their Master of Education and Continuing Teaching License and professional development credits without traveling to SOU - utilizing distance learning technologies in their community.  Schedule of Distance Learning classes

ONLINE Degree Completion in Early Childhood Development.  Students complete the general education and early childhood education prerequisite courses at their local community college, then transfer to SOU and complete their degree through a combination of online and hybrid courses.

Pacific Circle Consortium International Conference

 The School of Education is proud to be hosting the 34th Annual PCC Conference in Ashland! 
 Call for Proposals is now open! Please join your fellow educators from around the Pacific Rim in this exciting opportunity to discuss the themes of Social Justice, Teacher Education, and Innovative Approaches, Ideas & Policies.
