Director of Alumni Affairs & Annual Giving
Doreen is delighted to be a part of the Southern Oregon University Family. Prior to working at SOU she had the opportunity to work with the Microsoft External Research & Programs team where she was responsible for developing partnerships with universities and colleges throughout the country. She was also a part of the PR team for the Microsoft Robotics Studio. She has also worked at St. Bonaventure University in New York as the Director of Constituent Relations and Campaign Programs and worked on major special events and fund raising campaigns, as well as alumni relations. Doreen started her career in academia at the University of Portland, where she was the Associate Director of Alumni Relations and responsible for many aspects of Alumni Relations - from mentoring to event planning. She has a Masters of Arts degree in Public Relations from Ball State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Theatre Management from the University of Portland.
