Campus Tours
Welcome to SOU!
The Office of Admissions, located in Britt Hall, offers daily tours to prospective students and their guests. Visitors have the option to view the Residence Halls, meet one-on-one with an Admissions Counselor, sit in on a class, and/or meet with a faculty member.* Upon arrival to the Office of Admissions you will receive a complimentary parking permit for the day, an itinerary for your visit, and a packet of information about SOU. To schedule a campus visit, please sign up online.
* To help us accommodate your requests, please give one week's notice for classroom visits and appointments.
Holiday Options for Guided Tours
November 23, 24 and 25 — 11am tour only
November 26 and 27 — Office will be closed
December 14 through the 22nd — 11am tour only
December 23, 24, 25 — Office will be closed
December 28 through the 31st — 11am tour only
Guided Tours
Monday - Friday, 10am & 2pm (during the regular academic year)
Monday - Friday, 11am (during winter, spring, and summer breaks)
Saturday, 11am (By appointment only during the academic year)**
** Please note that campus is closed on Saturdays and we are not able to offer classroom visits or appointments with Admissions Counselors or faculty, however, we are happy to accommodate campus & residence hall tours.
Group Tours
For groups larger than 10 students, please contact the Office of Admissions for tour options.
Alternate Tour Options
If you are unable to attend a scheduled tour time, please contact the Office of Admissions for alternate options at 800-482-7672 ext. 6411 or admissions@sou.edu.
